The log requires the 2 inch discs to hold 365-370 pages while the archive only has 2 inch discs because I want to empty the notebook pages at the same time as I do with the daily pages at the end of the year, keeping everything together. This allows you to save space in the notebook, but more importantly it helps you stay organized and only keep the information that you need. The Discbound allows you to add or remove the pages for all planner sections as needed. While most bullet journals are also used as a planner, you are limited to laying out your year, month, week and daily pages in advance if you want to keep them all together. They are insanely practical and can be customized in just about any way you see fit. Discbound notebooks are some of the most underrated and untalked about notebooks for business of all time, IMHO.
